Literature Text

Two pits of utter darkness.
The only reflected emotions are resentment and bitter sorrow.
'Who is this, that I am starring at?'
You ask yourself,
not recognizing this new figure,
But you know everyone.
Yet as you stare the being in the eyes,
a sudden truth dawns on you:
You know this person.
Their movements, so similar to yours
The same vigilant eyes that you have,
Yet this person is older than you,
their face worn with unseen angers and regrets,
Whereas yours is young and free of earthly worries.
It can't be true,
Yet as you so desperately try to deny,
The truth that is utterly un-deniable,
you know deep inside yourself,
The identity of the person you observe.
It is you.

IDK I feel depressed about something...... but I don't know what.

Very nice poem! I did not find this depressing at all. As a fellow poet, I will give you a full, real review :3

> The second line is a bit too long and disrupts the flow of the work. Maybe you could shorten it to something like: The only reflected emotions are resentment and bitter sorrow.
>At the end of Line 8 a " : " fits in better. Then Line 9 would have a period. I think this because it completes the first thought, and even thought it is a poem, it is best not to have a run-on sentence :)
> Line 10 could say: Their movements, so similar to yours. It flows better.
> Line 14 "were" should be "Whereas"

You should join Young Writers' Society for more pointers! You are a great poet!
